Efficiency improvement of a three-coil WPT system with rectified load based on a selected compensation capacitor

In the existing pieces of literature about three-coil wireless power transfer (WPT) system, a structure is proposed to increase efficiency compared two-coil WPT system. The cross-coupling among three coils, compensation capacitor repeating coil (RPC) and rectified load are considered incompletely. circuit model system with developed by taking all coils RPC into consideration in this paper. relationship efficiency, level, rectifier deduced. detailed mathematical analysis selection investigated improve efficiency. An experimental study demonstrates that selected achieves higher than resonant different conditions conditions. System promoted from 73.9% (resonant for RPC) 84.2% (selected RPC).
